Safe Housing for Domestic Violence Survivors

The Foundation supports and empowers those on their journey of healing & self-sufficiency.

  • Survivors reside in their own apartment in a secure, safe, supportive residential environment.
  • Housing is offered for a minimum of two years if needed.
  • Other valuable resources included are trauma-informed therapy, financial skills building, employment training, job opportunities, educational resources/classes, as well as quality childcare facility. Thus giving each & every survivor tools to begin living their best lives free from abuse & trauma.

The MRJ Foundation seeks to ensure all survivors of violence and abuse have access to safe housing, support and empowerment on their journey of healing and recovery. A combination of resources to promote healing and self-sufficiency would be accessible: trauma informed therapy, basic life skills, financial literacy, employment training, job opportunities, educational resources, as well as child care support. These skills and supports can help to ensure every survivor has an opportunity to begin living their best life, free from abuse and trauma.
